My Prison Buddy, in addition to offering customized care packages and support for your incarcerated loved one, also has created a non-profit organization dedicated to the successful rehabilitation of recently released ex-felons.

The House of Gideon is devoted to providing a wide range of services to support and increase the success rate of newly released ex-felons. Our objective with this organization is to provide a direct source of strength, support and resources by offering the following:

• Job training.
  Once released, we hope that by acquiring marketable skills, this will provide incentive, motivation and confidence to be successful and maintain their freedom.
  
• Job placement.
  Ex-felons face many obstacles when re-entering society and the House of Gideon wants to offer their help in locating lucrative job and career opportunities.
  
• Spiritual counseling.
  The House of Gideon, in addition to practical job training and placement services, hopes to provide recently released ex-felons with a spiritual foundation on which to place their future successes.

We hope to partner with civic leaders, non-profit organizations and like-minded groups to help raise awareness, money and resources to be put towards these deserving citizens. A percentage from all My Prison Buddy sales is donated to The House of Gideon, to further affirm our commitment to this worthy, and often-overlooked, cause.
